I'm Eric Vanatta. I work as a Principal Security Consultant at CyberArk, focused on Endpoint Privilege Manager. My work centers on helping organizations remove standing local administrator rights, enforce least privilege, and reduce the attack surface on Windows, macOS, and Linux endpoints.

Before CyberArk I worked in identity and access management at Synovus. I hold a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Grantham University.

I live in Eufaula, Alabama, on Lake Eufaula. I'm a member of Lake Eufaula FOP Lodge #34. Outside of work I spend time on the water, shooting precision rimfire matches, and tinkering with home infrastructure.
